In the next twenty four hours the labour Party in Enugu State will be conducting Primaries across the seventeen local governments in the State in connection with the February 2024 local government election in the state.
Udi local government area have been been divided into two zones North and south. Going by this zoning arrangements the South have had a fair share of Providing the Chairman of the local government even as at today.
In an effort to bring about Peace and sense of belonging to the Political equation in the local government the other parties have also zoned the Chairmanship Position to UDI North.
From the results of the the just concluded elections in the State in March it is obvious that the election will be a direct race between the ruling party in the State and the party that took the state by storm in the last election the labour Party.
In a Poll conducted recently about the candidates of labour Party that have the capacity and and reach to win in the coming Local government Election in the state Hon Christian Ugwu Ogbozor Popularly known as Chief Omeruoha came tops as the man with the Midas touch and whom the Cap fits.
Major labour Party Stakeholders in UDI are of the opinion that Chief Omeruoha has what it takes to improve the economy of UDI LGA with his administrative accumen which he gained by his previous years of work with high network organization in the country.
Going by the endorsement Chief Omeruoha has garnered it is expected he will clinch the Chairmanship Position during the Party primary tomorrow.
