Udeze Development Council Area ready to receive Gov Ugwuanyi on Dec. 23rd
All is now set for the good people of Udeze Development Council Area in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State to receive the hard working and peoples Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The information is contained in a press release signed by the Secretary of Udeze Forum steering committee cum Secretary of the Media and Publicity Committee, Mr. Emmanuel Jonathan, JP.
According to the release by Udeze Forum, the Governor would be hosted to a Civic Reception and Endorsement Rally as the sole candidate of Udeze area comprising of Itchi, Unadu and Alor-Agu communities respectively for the 2019 Governorship election in the state.
The forum said that the Governor will commission the first phase of Ibagwa-Itchi-Unadu-Alor-Agu road, St Michaels Anglican Church building among other brief activities.
The forum which expressed gratitude to the Governor for setting aside the said date for a visit to Udeze Development Council Area, said that they were optimistic that the visit will turn around the pains and age long suffering of the people of the area for good.
“The people of Udeze in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area are fully ready to receive His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on the 23rd of December 2018 as approved.
“On the Governor’s arrival to Udeze Development Area, he will commission the first phase of Ibagwa-Itchi-Unadu-Alor-Agu and thereafter be taken round Udeze Development Council Area office situated at Itchi community before proceeding to Unadu community for a Civic Reception and Endorsement rally as the sole candidate of the people of Udeze area for the 2019 Governorship election in the state.
“After the said programme in Unadu community, the Governor will head on to Alor-Agu community to commission a befitting Church complex built by the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer Golden Valley Hotels and Suites Nsukka, Chief Dr. Joel Ugwoke among other brief activities.
“The Governor will then be treated to a light refreshments by the people of Udeze area in Alor-Agu community at the country home of the convener of Udeze Forum, Barr Vincent Obetta.” The release explained.
The forum commended the council chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Fidelis Odo and other stakeholders of Council for their support towards the proposed historic visit of the Governor to Udeze Development Area.
The forum called on the good people Igbo-Eze South and Enugu State at large to come out in their numbers to welcome the governor to Udeze Development Area.
