Yesterday at Anaocha Local Government Secretariat, the Senator representing Anambra Central at the hallowed chambers, Sen. Victor Umeh was decorated with a Chieftaincy title by all the traditional rulers in Anaocha.
The traditional process presided by Igwe Innocent Obodoakor, Igwe Agulu, on behalf of Anaocha Traditional Ruling Council, afterwards pronounced Sen. Umeh as ‘Ugwumba Anaocha.’

The event attracted both State and National leadership of APGA, influential personalities from within and outside the State.
Chief among those present to felicitate with Senator was the renown philanthropist and the APGA aspirant for Awka South 1 State House of Assembly, Engr Emeka Igwe.

Emeka Igwe, who came alongside Prince Obinna Ndigwe, showered encomium on the peoples Senator for his tremendous input in the development of Anaocha and beyond.
The highly elated Senator, thanked Igwe for coming and also said he was pleased with the Free Medical Outreach he carried out recently, because according to him, the best service one can give is service to humanity.
He encouraged Igwe to continue in his good work, in adding values to the Society.
One may recall that Emeka Igwe recently sponsored a 5 days Free Medical Outreach in Awka south, where over 3000 beneficiaries had assess to medicare.
