Lawyers from Enugu State attending the ongoing NBA AGC 2018 in Abuja were hosted to a Dinner by the SA to the President on Justice Reforms, Barr. Mrs. Juliet Ibekaku on Wednesday 29th August 2018 at the Bon Hotel Stratton, Asokoro.
The Lawyers who turned out in large numbers received the news of her Declaration for Senate with jubilation.
Led by the Chairman of Enbar, Anene Orjinta, and other leaders of Bar and Bench, the learned audience expressed support for Her ambition for Enugu West Senatorial Zone 2019.
In her remarks, Barr. Mrs. Ibekaku encouraged Lawyers to get actively involved in leadership at all levels. According to the host, “Lawyers have a great role to play in nation building.” She assured the Learned audience of her willingness to engage Enugu Lawyers as partners for national development.
In his remarks, the Organizer of the event, Barr. Henry NNANNA Okeke thanked the host for her hospitality in hosting Enugu Lawyers Dinner in a grand style. Other leaders of the Bar expressed gratitude and encouraged her to continue her good work even when elected as Senator.
