Leading political group in Enugu known as 3-in-1 Political Solution has dismissed the declaration of intention to contest the governorship election in 2019 by veteran actor Kenneth Okonkwo saying he stands no chance at all against the incumbent governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The group which is a support group for the Ugwuanyi second term agenda is made up of grassroots politicians, former ward party chairmen and party executives who are well grounded in the politics of their communities.
In a meeting held in Enugu at the weekend founder of the group and chairman Ezzeagu Local Government Area Chief Fred Chukwudi Ezinwa dismissed Kenneth Okonkwo’s entry into the race as a waste of time stressing that the Nollywood actor stands no chance at all.
“Even in his films he always failed where others succeeded but this is not acting it’s a
real business. He has no chance at all because the governor has done well.
“What is he coming give to the people when the governor has provided all the infrastructure, he is paying salaries and even paid 13th month.
“Ugwuanyi is the only governor that flagged off projects in all the local governments in one day and commissioned them at the same time. The governor that has flagged off projects in the 450 communities and we know he is going to commission same. So he is not a threat at all.
“The Governors’ second term is a finished deal. These are the people who know the nooks and crannies of all the wards, all local governments in the state. And if we don’t have these people opposition may anchor on them, but with them APC will have problem establishing itself in Enugu. They are past ward chairmen and party executives with the experience.”
