…says no room for indolence
The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA and ALGON Vice Chairman, Enugu State, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, has welcomed the new management team posted to the council administration.
The new management team are, the Head of Personnel Management (HPM), Mrs. Anigbo Loveth Ifeoma; the Treasurer, Mrs. Onyeme Blessing; and the Clerk of the House, Mr. Onyia David.
In his remarks while welcoming them, Barr Ukwueze reiterated his administration’s commitment to the growth and progress of Igbo-Eze South LGA anchored on his Progress Agenda mantra.
He appreciated the outgoing management team members for their unflinching cooperation, describing their contributions as invaluable to his administration’s vision.
Barr. Ukwueze further stressed the transformative impact of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s leadership, which is characterised by Disruptive Innovation and an unrelenting commitment to workers’ welfare.
He encouraged the new officers to nurture a work environment that motivates and empowers civil servants to deliver exceptional performance.
“Igbo-Eze South, where you have come to work, is an environment gasping for progress and improvement. We will grow together and make that progress together.
“One’s pain is the collective pain of all of us, and the joy one shares is shared among all of us. That is what I want! You are coming with your experience to meet with my own experience.
“To appreciate the good works of His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, we must work together to ensure that we replicate in Igbo-Eze South, the good governance felt in the entire state. We must encourage the civil servants to understand that it is no more business as usual. It is a tempo we should build and sustain.
“What society expects from us is to put in our best wherever we find ourselves, for that is the legacy for which we will be referenced. I must say that working with your predecessors, I had a good team.
“When it comes to understanding the work ethics, we were so complementing that we usually feed from the same thought.” he remarked.
The new management team expressed their readiness to collaborate with the Mayor in fulfilling his administration’s mandate.
Speaking on behalf of her colleagues, the Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Anigbo Loveth, said that they are committed to advancing Igbo-Eze South LGA’s growth and transformation by ensuring continued progress in service delivery.
Aligning with Governor Mbah’s vision for Enugu State, Anigbo pledged that collectively they will drive disruptive innovation, improve infrastructure, and enhance governance efficiency.
She said, “Our shared goal is to elevate Igbo-Eze South LGA, by contributing to the Governor’s vision of a prosperous, people-centred Enugu State,”.
