Akure, March 9, 2026 – Creativity will take centre stage in Akure as artists gather to transform city walls into vibrant expressions of culture, identity and storytelling during the Akure Street Art Festival.
The festival is a collaboration between Artsassin Nation, Ondo Creatives Club and the Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency to showcase talents and beautify the city through murals and graffiti.
The non-governmental street mural and graffiti installation is organised by Oluwole “Easy” Ohunakin and the Ondo Creatives Club to promote public art and celebrate Akure’s growing creative community.
The four-day event will hold from March 10 to March 13, 2026, at a location adjacent to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Alagbaka, Akure.
Organisers said the initiative aims to add colour to the city while providing a platform for artists to share ideas and inspire residents through visual storytelling.
