Abuja, Oct. 9, 2025 (NAN) Northeast Telecoms Nigeria has signed a strategic partnership with HAYAT Telecoms of Tunisia to expand fibre optics infrastructure and rural telephony in Nigeria’s North East.
The agreement was formalised at HAYAT Telecoms headquarters in Tunisia.
It aims to improve connectivity, enhance technology transfer, and create jobs within Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.
Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe, Founder and CEO of Northeast Telecoms, described the deal as a major step in regional digital integration.
He said the partnership would strengthen ties between Tunisia and Nigeria and help address the growing demand for reliable communication services.
“This partnership will open new doors in digital transformation across Africa and serve as an example of regional cooperation in the telecom sector,” he said.
The ceremony was attended by executives, engineers, and technical representatives from both companies.
HAYAT Telecoms is a key provider of fibre optics solutions in Africa. The collaboration is expected to deliver modern telecom services tailored to Nigeria’s needs. (NAN)
