The lawmaker representing Chanchaga Federal Constituency of Niger State, Hon. Abubakar Abdul Buba, has advised his daughter, Aisha Abubakar Buba, to love her husband and abide by his guidance following her marriage to Hon. Ayuba Usman Katako, the executive chairman of Rafi Local Government Council of Niger state .
The lawmaker expresses joy over the union at the wedding ceremony in Minna , stating that the relationship developed naturally and progressed to marriage without his prior knowledge.
Hon. Buba also emphasized the importance of his daughter adhering to her husband’s wishes, citing that the Quranic principle stated that men are protectors and maintainers of women. He therefore encouraged his daughter Aisha to follow the guidance of the Quran for a lasting marriage while also and expressing his faith that God would bless their union.
The lawmaker also assured that he would not interfere in their marital decisions but rather pray for their happiness.
In response, the groom, Hon. Ayuba Usman Katako, the Executive Chairman of Rafi Local Government Council, said his admiration for Aisha’s character iand upbringing led to the marriage. He acknowledged Aishas solid training in both faiths and physical, which necessitated his commitment to loving her and building a strong home together.
Hon. Katako also urged Aisha to avoid outside influences that could undermine their marriage, advocating for resolving issues together if it arise.
