When the news filtered into news rooms during the PDP State Congress that the new State Chairman of the Party has emerged from Enugu West, Dr Martin Chukwunweike’s name became a source of joy and jubilation as the popular cliche that when a good man is in Authority the People rejoice came into play.
Chukwunweike, Medical Doctor turned Politician has paid his dues and has Shown a Special character horned at the Prestigious College of Immaculate conception (CIC) Enugu, whose motto is “Semper fidelis” which translates to always faithful that has endeared him to Three governors of the State namely: Dr Chimaroke Nnamani, Barrister Sullivan Chime and currently Dr Peter Mbah .
The Governor is saying that Dr Martin is the right man that can bring back the glory of PDP in the state as a unifier.
The Governor has proved critics wrong with his recent infrastructural development in Enugu state such as State of work at the abandoned International conference centre, the Smart Schools project, reticulation of water within the Enugu metropolis and construction of many urban and rural roads.
When i knew that the governor was on another level came to fore when he Presented his budget of over 500 billion plus which have never happened In the history of governance in the State.
Dr Martin with his style of leadership will bring about the new PDP structure in Enugu in such a manner that will ensure the return to the glory days when PDP was synonymous with leadership in the State.
IT is against this background that the PDP has Shown that it has learnt a lesson from what happened during the last election and will ensure the right people are positioned to get back to reconning by the masses.
As he starts his leadership as the State Chairman of our great party, it is obvious that he will bring to bear his Polished Style that have been tested and found to be one person who can change the narrative and bring the PDP back to her former glory and like what this administration will always say “Tomorrow” is definitely here.
