Enugu State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Barrister Lloyd Ekweremadu, has charged youths to excell in all their endeavours.
Ekweremadu gave the charge, while delivering a Keynote lecture at the Business/ Leadership Summit entitled ” Beyond Boundaries: Shaping Your Path To Excellence’ , at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC).
According to him, “There is constant need to challenge oneself, take risks and embrace new opportunities, in order to reach one’s full potentials’.”
He pointed out the imperative of perseverance , resilience and a strong work ethic, in the pursuit of excellence’.
He enjoined youths to always dream big, set ambitious goals and to continue learning self- improvement.
The Commissioner further advised the youths to never settle for mediocrity and to always seek out mentors and role models who will guide and support them.
Highlight of the occasion was, the presentation of Excellent Leadership Award to the Honurable Commissioner by the students.
