The International day for Education which holds every 24th January will be celebrated this Wednesday in Enugu at the NUJ Press Center rangers avenue in grand Style.
In a Press release signed by Comrade Okolo Norbert the Executive Director Strategy and Communications Sound Education Ambassadors (SEA) Nigeria, the Non governmental organization in Education Sector has concluded Plans with Enugu State Ministry of Education to make the day a memorable one for Some high flying Students, teachers and Individuals who have made Outstanding Contribution to the Promotion of Sound Education in Enugu State.
The release further noted that Sound Education Ambassadors (SEA) has the Vision to see Nigeria Compete favourably in the international arena and a mission to help Educational Institutions raise sound Educated, Creative,Self reliant and democratic Youths who will Contribute productively to the Socio-economic development of Nigeria through Promotion of Purposeful, qualitative and productive Education.
The Special Guest of honour at the event will be His Excellency Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State while Engr Sir Ben Eche the CEO of Flagship Petroleum will be the Chairman of the Occasion with the Key note address to be delivered by Dr Martin Chukwunweike the Commissioner for housing and former Commissioner for Education Enugu State.
Many dignitaries have indicated their interest to attend this ceremony which the release noted will be a yearly event.
