A Delegation of Mkpuke the Governing Council of Achi Political Dialogue Group (APDG)Socio economic group that has brought Achi back to reckoning in the Political equation of OJIRIVER has paid a Courtesy Call on Hon Osita Eze the Member Representing Ojiriver local government area at the State House of Assembly in his office.
The leader of the group and Convener of Mkpuke Barrister Maxi Okwu Ikenecheoha2 in his opening Speech during the visit noted that the group came to his office to celebrate his hundred days in office as in other Climes hundred days is regarded as the end of honey moon and Serious business Starts.
He further noted that Hon Osita Eze have shown that he has the interest of his Constituency at heart considering that he is Still in Court with a Candidate of PDP but still had his ears to the ground and very visible in Social circle of the local government area.
The main aim of the visit Ikenecheoha2 said was to Show him that Achi People were in Prayers for his Success at the court and to know some of the Challenges he has had to grapple with since he came on board.
That as the Chairman house Committee on Education he has really brought Succour to many Students already.The next Speaker at the event was the Cerebral Chief Jeff Ukeh Egbeigwe Jesus who went philosophical to say that Labour Party that Produced him have been described as Oguguo Achi Akwa, meaning that the party that came to pacify ACHI people when they were in dire need of Political relevance.
Others Speakers at the event included Engr Teddy Onyemachi (Okennwa Akwunubi) Hon Chuks Adibe, Chairman Achi Labour Party Staholders Chief Arnold Abba and representative of the labour Party woman leader Lolo Chinyere Gbugu Ugoeze Amanato.
Hon Osita Eze the host thanked the Mkpuke team for their massive Support that led to his Victory at the polls even twice.
He noted that he will never take them and members of his Constituency for granted as the Assembly today is Poised to Change the narrative by legislating for the benefits of the Voters that gave them the mandate to represent them.He gave an insight of the Plans to give Education in the State a new impetus to produce Skillful Students at the end of their Education with the view to reduce the rate of unemployment in the State and also some snippets of some other issues that will impact positively on the masses he concluded.
