The ward Chairmen of labour Party Enugu State has frowned at the ruling of the Justice Kudirat Akano led Panel of Judges who Last Thursday Affirmed that Dr Peter MBAH of the PDP was the Winner of the last Governorship election in March inspite of the Overwhelming evidence that he Submitted a forged NYSC certificate.
In a Press Release signed by Hon Daniel Anude the Coordinating Chairman of the 260 labour Party Chairmen and Dr Lady Ndidiamaka J Agbo the Secretary noted that the judgement was inconsistent with the provisions of 1999 constitution as amended section 182(1)(j) of the constitution which States outright disqualification of any candidate that provide forged certificate to INEC.
The ward Chairmen called on the Judicial council of Nigeria and CJN to call their members to order and stop issuing conflicting judgements that negate our constitution and further making our country a subject of mockery among other countries of the world
The ward Chairmen frowned at justice Akano led panel describing their latest judgement on Enugu governorship election tribunal judgement as daylight robbery that will Surely be reversed at the higher Courts as the Supreme court has already ruled on this kind of cases in the recent past.
They release also asked the Labour Party Faithful Enugu State to continue in prayers for the mandate to be retrieved at the* Appeal court.
