The apex court on Wednesday has adjourned a case instituted by the state government against the federal government challenging the implementation of naira redesign.
The apex court has adjourned the case to march 3 for judgement.
Eairler, the apex court has also consolidated the suit instituted by over 12 state government. Meanwhile, at the last hearing on Feb 15, seven states joined the three initial states as co- plaintiffs while Edo and Bayelsa states joined the federal government as co- defendants.
The court however, refused to join Abia state in the suit on the ground that it came late with it’s originating Summons.
All efforts by Abia state government to joined in the suit prove abotive and was turn down and was ordered to present it case at a later date.
