Edeoga promises grassroots governance if elected

The Governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Enugu State, Hon. Chijioke Edeoga says he will run a grassroots oriented administration if elected governor on March 11.
Edeoga said this at Achi Uno ward 1, in Oji River Local Government Area of the state in continuation of ward to ward visit of the 17 local government areas of Enugu State.
He lemanted the deplorable condition of roads in many rural communities of the state and vowed that a vote for him will end the suffering of the rural people across the state.
“Since I began this ward-to-ward tour of the 17 local government areas of our state, I have come to see the pitiable condition of our various communities.
“In many communities, the condition of roads are terrible: dilapidated schools; no electricity; pipe borne water is non-existent and so on.
“I assure you that LP government under my care will go down to the grassroots and address these problems, if you give me your votes come March 11, ” he said.
He told the people that as his name (Okaome) rightly implies, he will do whatever he had promised to do.
The LP candidate is currently continuing his tour with Enugu South and Enugu North local government areas respectively in focus.
