Enugu: LP rep candidate promises to end era of misrepresentation in constituency
Prof. Paul Nnamchi, Labour Party candidate for Isi Uzo/Enugu East Federal Constituency of Enugu State in the forthcoming general election has vowed to end era of misrepresentation in the constituency in elected.
He said this at Mbulu ward in Enugu East Local Government Area while addressing a large crowd of Party supporters during the Governorship campaign rally of, Barr. Chijioke Edeoga and his Deputy, Dr John Nwokeabia.
He said that his election into the Green chamber in Abuja will end the era of misrepresentation currently being experienced in the area.
Nnamchi further informed the audience that, he was not going to Abuja to make up the numbers.
“But to contribute to debates and discussions and that will in turn result in the passing of bills which will address variois issues facing the people of my constituency, ” he said.
He said the recent killings in Ehamufu, Isi Uzo local government area, which happens to be part of his constituency, has exposed the misrepresentation of the member representing the area.
According to him, inspite of the killing of more than 11 persons by Fulani herdsmen in their farms has not, in any way, made a statement condemning the killings.
“He has not even reached out to the farmers as if, he is not aware of what is happening to them, ” he said.
Nnamchi promised to pursue laws bordering on the and privileges acurable to his constituency.
He urged the people to vote wisely by voting the labour party candidates across board for a better Enugu state and Nigetia in general.
