RE: Enugu Youths Should Stop being lazy, Edoga refutes statement
The Chijioke Edeoga Campaign Organization has described as fake and unfounded, a report credited to the Labour Party Governorship candidate insinuating that Enugu youths are lazy.
In a statement made available to Journalists in Enugu signed by Engr. George Ugwu, Director of the organization said that the sponsored report was a handiwork enemies of progress.
The statement reads in part: The above subject matter which was published by one faceless writer who goes by name Bonaventure Nwankiti aka Boisterous news, which is intended to pitch the labour Party governorship candidate Hon Barrister Chijioke Edeoga against the industrious and God fearing Youths of Enugu State.
This is another desperate attempt by a drowning and confused political party which we all know will spare nothing to splash mud on the rising profile of the star of our moment.
Seeing the handwriting on the wall that the people of Enugu State are poised to change the narrative in the coming election which is in line with the adage “that you can cheat some people for some time but when your cup is full the old order changes, creating a space for new order and this order will be made manifest come 2023, the people and youths of Enugu state will speak in unison.
On behalf of the labour Party Gubernatorial candidate Barrister Chijioke Edeoga, we wish to inform the public about this smear campaign aimed at publishing fake news just to see if they can whittle down the ever growing profile and the resolve of the good people of Enugu state to elect Barr. Chijioke Edeoga as governor of Enugu state come 2023.
The path they have chosen is the path of shame and self-defeat by publishing fictitious and imaginary stories just to give the impression that the Labour Party governorship candidate is berating the youths for being lazy.
It must be noted that he was nowhere near Oji River on the said date in question as such, is obvious that the writer was paid to do a hatchet job by misinforming the general public to cause disaffection and paint Barr. Chijioke Edeoga in a bad light.
We urge these scavengers to go and purge themselves or face the anger of God as this movement is the hand work of God whose time has come and no amount of mudslinging will distract Barrister Edeoga who is very much focused to bring the most outstanding dividends of democracy to the people of Enugu State come 2023
