Police arrests man who cut-off woman’s head for rituals

The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives has arrested a man who beheaded a lady’s for suspected ritual purposes.
The ugly incident has brought Uzouwani local government area and Nimbo Community back in the news barely one year after Fulani herdsmen attacked the community killing scores in the process.
The police say it has commenced full scale investigations into the murder incident following the arrest of the suspect and recovery of the lifeless body of the victim.
The lady identified as Susanna Enejere of Ugbene Ajima in Uzouwani Local Government Area of Enugu state had gone to farm on that fateful day of 26/3/18 but never came back .
It was further gathered that when she could no longer be seen, a search was intensified in the early hours of 27/3/18 during one Toochukwu Idu Chianugo was linked to her disappearance.
The suspect who hails from Ugwuoda village Nimbo was promptly nabbed in connection with the incident.
Following his arrest ,he took the operatives to the scenes of crime where he beheaded his victim.
The headless body together with the severed head have long been recovered  and deposited in a nearby mortuary while suspect is helping the operatives in their investigations.
