Enugu State Teachers massively rally support for Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in appreciation of his good works in the state and commitment to their welfare as well as all the remarkable achievements in the education sector, such as regular payment of teachers’ salaries /allowances; regular promotion of teachers; recruitment of teachers; regularization of appointment of all Volunteer Teachers; resumption of payment of gratuity to Primary School Teachers; renovation and construction of new classroom blocks and office complex; sustenance of free and compulsory education policy from primary to JSS 3; maintenance of industrial harmony in the education sector, 13th month salary for the civil servants in the state as Christmas bonus, among others.
The Teachers who turned out in their numbers asked the governor to “Move on” as they are solidly behind him in 2019…, and conferred on him the tittle of “Odozi Obodo I” of Enugu State.
