Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has told operators of football betting platforms, NaijaBet, operating in the state to pack their loads and leave.
The governor stated this on Sunday while speaking at the Borno State owned BRTV 14th Annual Ramadan Lecture held in Maiduguri and monitored by our reporter in the state.
Governor Shettima had also lamented on the negative effect NaijaBet is having on the social and spiritual life of youths in the state.
