LABOUR PARTY COORDINATOR HAILS LEGAL TEAM.
The labour Party Enugu State Governorship election Tribunal legal team has been Commended by the Coordinator Achi Labour Party Stakeholders, CHIEF Arnold Abba.
He made this remark when he addressed the media ahead of the coming adoption of the Labour Party Governorship election final address on August 16, 2023.
Arnold noted that the Governorship Candidate of Labour Party, Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga and his Deputy, Dr John Okechukwu Nwokeabia knew from the on set that to retrieve the mandate that was given to them in the March 11 election they needed to go for a legal team that has the required experience and track record of performance on related election Tribunal matters and did go for the best.
He said that the legal team has been very outstanding and Committed to ensuring that all legal means was put on the table to turn the tide in favour of the Petitioners who have shown great resilience in their quest to see that their mandate freely given to them by the people of Enugu State was restored.
Chief Abba further said that looking at the performance of the labour Party in Enugu State in the last election with the Seven labour Party Candidates winning their elections out of Eight seats, fourteen candidates winning State Assembly seats out of twenty four seats and two Senate seats out of three, that it was very clear Enugu people had decided that enough of the PDP that have been in power for the past 24 years with out any appreciable achievement to show for all these years and billions of allocations to the State.
He urged the labour Party faithful in Enugu State to continue in prayers as the day of reckoning was fast approaching.
