…Hails Pastor Umo Eno on appointment of Frank Archibong as Commissioner
The DG of Pastor Umo Eno/ Akon Eyakenyi Campaign Organization, Chief Assam Assam has called on Eket stakeholders to embrace the spirit of teamwork, synergy and unity in order to attract more development to the area.

Chief Assam made the declaration during an enlarged PDP stakeholders meeting at his Ede Urua residence on Sunday 6th August, 2023.
In his welcome remarks, Amb. Assam Assam (SAN), applauded Eket Stakeholders for standing firm to support and deliver Governor Umo Bassey during the 2023 general elections in which Eket garnered over twenty thousand votes, the second highest across the state.

He thanked the Governor for reappointing their illustrious son, Hon Frank Archibong as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and tasked Eket people to support Pastor Umo Eno’s led administration and his economic blue print as encapsulated in his ARISE AGENDA.
Chief Assam urged all stakeholders to cue behind and rally support for Rt Hon Akaniyene Tommey in so as to deliver in his assigned duties as the Council Helmsman.
In their separate remarks, Rt Hon David Lawrence, Hon Ayang Ayang, Abongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, Prof Etie Ben Akpan, Chief Iniobong Idem, Obonganwan Mandu Abia, Dr Dominic Ukpong and Chief C. H. Isong thanked Barrister Assam Assam for his glowing support to the party, they lauded the state Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey in his ARISE AGENDA and the reappointment of their son, Mkpisong Frank Archibong into the State Executive Council.

Dr Nsidibe Akata in his speech, applauded the stakeholders for their overwhelming support during and after the 2023 House of Assembly elections and promised to work for the collective interest of Eket people.
Mkpisong Akaniyene Tommey commended the stakeholders for the confidence reposed on him and promised to work closely with the people and Governor Umo Eno to make Eket a developmental hub in Akwa Ibom State.
He further thanked Governor Umo Eno for reappointing Pastor Frank Archibong to serve in the state executive council, he described Mkpisong Frank Archibong as a honest and transparent leadership, whose leadership is people’s oriented.
In his goodwill message, Mkpisong Frank commended the stakeholders for their overwhelming support and mentorship, he promised to work closely with the people inorder to attract more development to Eket and urged all factions to come together and work for the collective interest of Eket people.
In attendance were; Senior Stakeholders, Ward leaders, Councillors, Supervisors, Chapter officers and Ward Chairmen.
