Eid-el-Kabir: EEDC promises South East customers uninterrupted power supply
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has assured the residents of the South-East of uninterrupted power supply and 24-hour technical maintenance during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
This is contained in a statement issued in Enugu by the Head, Corporate Communications of EEDC, Mr Emeka Ezeh, entitled: “Our Operations during the Eid-el-Kabir Holiday”.
Ezeh said that the company was wishing “its esteemed customers a wonderful Sallah holiday and assuring them of its commitment to deliver improved services.”
According to him, the EEDC is informing its esteemed customers that its cash offices will be open for operations on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, during the Eid-el-Kabir holiday.
“Our alternate payment channels will equally be available to our customers during the period.
“They include: Energy Pay (by logging on to our website: www.enugudisco.com), Point of Sale (POS), Quick-Teller, E-transact channels, Collection Agents, and other online platforms.
“Adequate arrangements have been made for our technical/maintenance teams to be on ground across our coverage areas, to attend to faults that may occur,” he said.
Ezeh said that for complaints during the holiday, customers/residents should dial its 24/7 call centre to speak with an agent.
