HON. RAYMOND UGWU LAUDS LABOUR PARTY FAITHFUL,PLEDGES Quality REPRESENTATION.
The Member representing Enugu East Rural in the Enugu State House of Assembly, on the platform of labour party (LP) Hon. Raymond Okechukwu UGWU has praised the party faithful in his Constituency for the way and manner they came out enmass to Vote for him.
He said this was inspite of the fact that Enugu State was firmly in the control of the PDP in the last Twenty four years.
Hon Raymond one of the youngest member of the Assembly in this era of not too young to run said in a statement when he was received by his Constituency after his Inauguration.
At the high profile event which was attended by Stakeholders of labour Party in Enugu, labour Party faithful friends and associates was an avenue for HON Raymond to thank God for his ever Presence through out the election period and for members of his Constituency for their commitment and sacrifice inspite of the pressure from the ruling Party to turn the ti
“I will endeavor to put smiles on the faces of Enugu State people as we have resolved to put up great effort to bring about laws that will address the Challenges facing our People, ” he said.
The high point of the reception was the arrival of the man of the moment His Excellency Barrister Chijioke Jonathan Edeoga the Labour Party Enugu State Governorship Candidate with a retinue of his aides to the reception.
The shouts of Okaome, Okaome filled the environment as Raymond and his Associates came out to welcome him and to usher him to the high table.
In his speech at the event His Excellency Barrister, Edeoga thanked the labour Party faithful from Enugu East Rural Constituency for their massive support for the party all through the election.
He promised that Hon Raymond will deliver on his mandate and give them the required good representation that will move the constituency to the next level.
Many dignitaries witnessed the event and there was enough to eat and drink throughout the duration of the event.
Cultural groups added spice to the grand reception to the admiration of the audience who thronged the venue of the event.
