Senator Abba moro who represents the good people of benue South in the national assembly and who is also the Senator elect has bemoaned the agony Nigerians went through as a result of Naira redesigned notes.
The lawmaker however expressed optimism that the 10th senate will rise up the occasion and reposition the country.
The former Minister of interior spoke on Wednesday in an interview with Pressmen in abj.
As i am speaking to you is the old notes that were deposited in the banks and I think Nigerians don’t deserve the agony without any definable direction and results I think it is not fair at all.
My hope is the 10th senate will rise up to the occasion and reposition the country, because I can’t see how we will not disintegrate if we maintain this stand in another one year.
But on the other hand I think the central bank of nigeria and other agencies of government are on top of the issue.
There is nothing personal about what is going on, it is all about Nigeria he said .
He further said that the task ahead of the 10th senate is enormous, stressing that the task is not a small one and in the past we talking about the noon performance of the Senate and we are still struggling to come out of it.
Senator Abba Moro who described the just concluded 2023 Election as a tsunami, observed that the polls swept many of his colleagues, But by the Gods grace he survived it
The next leadership of the National assembly especially the senate, I do hope and believe we are going to put our personal interest behind, I can assure you that the 10th senate will be very solid and masses friendly he added.
