Chief Medical Director of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH Enugu, Dr. Christopher Amah is reportedly battling for his life after a serious author crash along the Lokoja/Abuja expressway.
An inside source from the UNTH said the medical director and those with him were rushed to the FMC Lokoja where they were being treated.
There are little information about the level of injury caused by the accident but our source confirmed that the CMD was able to speak to the CMAC of the hospital suggesting that his condition was stabilizing.
He was on his way to Abuja on official trip when the accident reportedly occurred.
Amah has been having a running battle with doctors at UNTH over none payment of salaries, poor facilities and non availability of very common hospital equipment calling for his removal for the crumbling hospital to be revived.
